I’m George Dearing and this blog is one of the ways I communicate on the Web. I think my Twitter bio describes me pretty well but in short I’m first and foremost a father and husband. And when I’m not spending time with my family, I’m passionately consumed with figuring out how to help companies communicate more effectively. I sort of grew up on the web. I worked for USWeb back in 1996 and can remember selling $10K “brochureware” websites and spending an inordinate amount of time on Yahoo. I’ve worked in sales, marketing, business development, strategy and whatever else I could wedge myself into that involves the internet, software or marketing. I usually tell people my strongest attribute is that most folks can’t really box me into a certain category. Are you business development? Are you marketing? Are you a digital guy? My answer is of course, yes.
