Apple has scheduled a March 17th event where it’s reported they’ll debut the new iPhone OS 3.0. The company’s last major OS update (2.0) was about 8 months ago and it’s been 6 months since Apple missed its deadline for so-called “background applications.”
Besides something as obvious as cut-and-paste capabilities, personally I’d love to see some sort of video streaming a la Qik –without having to jailbreak the device. I’ve read there’s been at least a few video apps available for some time but Apple hasn’t signed off on platform deployment.
