It’s Not 12seconds’ Fault That Video Sucks On The iPhone

12Seconds My quest to become multimedia-enabled on the iPhone continued recently as I took 12seconds for a spin. After a few rough starts getting the audio overlay to work, i quickly tied together a few pictures we took in Orlando a few weeks back. (below)

It’s really unfortunate the iPhone doesn’t support streaming video without being hacked, something I bitched about on Twitter. 12seconds exposes that weakness very well, leaving you yearning for more and feeling a bit embarrassed that such a powerful smartphone could only produce a weakly animated screencast.

I also had a quick exchange with one of the founders Sol Lipman, who smartly picked up on my Tweets and challenged me to come up with some constructive feedback. For now, this one’s a keeper and resides on screen 2  of the iPhone.
